South Indian Fish Fry at Saffron Valley Indian Restaurant in salt Lake City

South Indian Fish Fry at Saffron Valley

Serves 2
Tilapia or Mahi Mahi- 2 slices
Chilly powder- 1 teaspoon
Turmeric powder- ¼ teaspoon
Corn starch- 1 teaspoon
All purpose flour – 1 tablespoon
Lemon- ½ juiced
Garam masala- ½ teaspoon
Salt to taste
Chopped curry leaves- 1 teaspoon
Cilantro and Lemon wedges for garnish
Marinate fish in all the ingredients except cilantro and lemon wedges. Let it sit for half hour. Heat a griddle and sear the fish on one side for five minutes. Turn to the other side and cook for another five minutes. Garnish with chopped cilantro and lemon wedges and serve.
