Mildly Spiced Potatoes & Cauliflower- Aloo Gobhi!

Aloo Gobhi simply means potatoes and cauliflower. This classic dish is simple to make yet delicious to serve and a favorite for vegetarians. Can be served with flat breads like roti, paratha, naan or steamed rice and dal.



4 large Potatoes cubed
2 medium onions, sliced
2 green chillis, slit lengthwise (serrano peppers)
3 tsp East India Pantry Garam Masala (can substitute with any other brand of Garam Masala)
3 tbsp olive oil
Salt to taste
2 tbsp Cilantro, chopped to garnish

Aloo Gobhi


Wash and prep potatoes and cauliflower.

Potatoes & Cauliflower

Heat oil in a pan. Add slit chillis and onion and fry till translucent. Add the East India Pantry Garam Masala, salt and fry for a further 2 mins.

Onions & Spice Mixture

Add cut potatoes and cauliflower and mix well.

Cauliflower & potatoes mixed with spices

Cover with a lid and cook for 10-15 inutes or until the potatoes are done. Garnish with chopped cilantro and serve hot.
