Soft pieces of paneer (Indian cottage cheese) are smeared with a cilantro, pesto, yogurt paste and grilled with bell peppers and onions to make a succulent kabab.


8 oz paneer- cut into 1 inch x 1/4 inch thick pieces
1 green bell pepper cut into 1 inch square pieces
1 red bell pepper cut into 1 inch square pieces
1 yellow bell pepper cut into 1 inch square pieces
1 onion cut into 1 inch square pieces
2 tbsp drained plain yogurt
Salt to taste
3 tsp East India Pantry Curry Masala Powder
3 tsp prepared pesto
3 tsp cilantro paste
1 big lemon squeezed


Mix spice blend, cilantro paste, salt, pesto, yogurt and lemon juice together.

Hariyali Paste

Mariante paneer, bell pepper, onion pieces in the marinade for an hour at the minimum or over night.

Paneer (Cottage Cheese) Marinating

When time for grilling, skewer the paneer, peppers, onions alternating to make a pretty presentation.

Grill for 10-15 mins. Serve hot garnished with onion rings and lemon wedges.
